28.2.45.0 (2026-09-16)
Fixed
- Fixed bulk allocation failing with a "The record in table Bulk Allocation Log already exists" error when a calculation covered more than one production day, or more than one item, variant, lot or package combination within a day. #101629
Deprecated
- The Allocation Variance and Consumption Variance columns, along with Expected Qty. (Base) and Consumed Qty. (Base), are hidden on the Allocation Lines page and will be removed in a future version. They did not account for output still to be posted, so they read as an overconsumption on orders that were simply mid-run. Use the new Statistics action instead. #101629
28.2.44.0 (2026-09-15)
Fixed
- Fixed freight pallet posting which updates the license plate type incorrectly. #103965
28.2.43.0 (2026-09-15)
Added
- Added Build Freight Pallet scanning validation, checking for license plates picked for the manifest, already belong to another manifest or freight pallet, or come from a different freight region. #99249
Fixed
- Fixed issue on receiving transfered items which are put into new pallet. #103922
28.2.42.0 (2026-09-14)
Fixed
- Fixed the issue with the time zone settings when posting production consumption. #103222
- Fixed bulk allocation incorrectly reporting no eligible output for production orders that had posted output, which left the affected groups in error with nothing allocated. #101629
Added
- Add integration events for hierarchical output license plate staging. #101239
- Added Reverse Posting to the Bulk Allocation Worksheet, allowing a posted allocation to be undone. Offsetting consumption is posted to the group's original production day, the group is marked Reversed and stamped with who reversed it, the contributing bulk consumption entries return to Not Allocated, and the run reopens so the day can be recalculated from current data. See Reversing a Posted Allocation. #101629
- Added an Allocation Log view of the full group history for a run, a Show Reversed Groups toggle on the worksheet (off by default), and navigation from an allocation to its contributing bulk consumption entries, the consumption item ledger entries it posted, and the production order or component list behind each line. #101629
- Added allocation run and allocation log references to the item journal lines created by bulk allocation, so a run's own journal lines can be identified and cleared before a retry. Posted consumption is described as
<item description> - Allocation [run, log], carrying the reference onto the item ledger entry. #101629
Changed
- Changed how bulk allocation decides which production order component lines are eligible. Eligibility is now driven by the output a production order actually posted — capacity recorded at a work centre mapped to the bulk bin — rather than by the routing it was planned to run. Where that does not apply, including output posted without a work centre, the component line's own bin code is used. This allows orders to be allocated correctly when they run somewhere other than where they were planned. See Proportional Apportionment. #101629
- Changed bulk allocation rounding to work to five decimal places throughout, rounded to nearest, with the residual added to the last allocated line so the allocated total ties exactly to the quantity available. Previously the item's own rounding precision was used, which could distort costing for items set up to round to whole units. #101629
- Serial-tracked items can no longer be bulk consumed. A serial-tracked item is specific in nature and is not suitable for staging into a shared bin and apportioning later, so the scan is now rejected at the device. #101629
28.2.41.0 (2026-09-11)
Changed
- Production output posting now includes recording attribute into license plate entries. #101426
28.2.40.0 (2026-09-10)
Added
- Added production consumption scanning support for Vendor and Bar Code Item References, including reference-specific units of measure, Standard Quantity defaults, and conversion of Units to the configured Units UOM Source. See Item References in Production Consumption for details. #101302
Fixed
- Fixed license plate type assignment when outputting hierarchical items, such as finished goods packed into pallets and cartons. See Hierarchical (Multi-Level) Output. #101171
Changed
- Improved license plate posting performance by reducing repeated content integrity checks during warehouse posting. #100947
28.2.39.0 (2026-09-09)

Added
- Added retrieval of shipped license plates onto inbound transfer warehouse receipts, making the received license plates available for receipt posting. #431
28.2.31.0 (2026-08-30)
Added
- Added bulk consumption allocation, which automatically apportions raw material moved into a bulk consumption bin across the production orders that ran that day. Allocation is proportional to actual output, posts consumption journal entries, and retains a full calculation basis for traceability. Includes the Bulk Allocation Worksheet for reviewing and adjusting proposals before posting, a Bulk Allocation Runs list for operational visibility, and a Bulk Consumption Allocation report for scheduled or manual execution. A finish guard prevents completing a production order while unallocated bulk consumption entries remain. #100953
28.2.30.0 (2026-08-28)
Changed
- Updated the partial consumption and partial bulk consumption screens so quantity and units are no longer prefilled from the scanned label. This helps prevent users from accidentally accepting the full quantity.
28.2.29.0 (2026-08-26)
Fixed
- Consumption of a license plate whose production output has not yet posted no longer fails. The scan reported the license plate as fully consumed because the queued output had not created its stock yet; the output entry for the scanned label is now posted first, the same way an output reversal already did. Applies to both consumption and bulk consumption.
Changed
- The posting engine now accepts a suspended entry, not just a pending or failed one. Suspended means the entry has not posted yet; the background dispatcher still leaves those alone, but anything that asks for an entry by name — a dependent scan, or the Process action on the Scan Processing Queue — will now attempt it. A dependent scan therefore retries a suspended output or consumption instead of reporting the status: if it posts, the scan continues; if it fails again, the device shows the actual posting error and the entry is left suspended with its original error intact. An entry the queue is actively processing now says so plainly rather than appearing as an empty license plate.
28.2.28.0 (2026-08-25)
Fixed
- Advanced Move now only shows the weight detail on movement-based activities, preventing unrelated weight information from appearing on other responses. #95853

28.2.27.0 (2026-08-24)
Fixed
- Inventory reclassification and journal movement postings now keep license plate registrations aligned with the staged unit of measure, preventing quantity mismatches when the warehouse entry and staged content use different UOMs. #100937
- Advanced Move header configuration now persists the location and new-location controls correctly in the unplanned move flow. #100937
28.2.26.0 (2026-08-21)
Fixed
- Duplicated header of Unplanned Move Advanced
28.2.25.0 (2026-08-20)

- Added header configuration support for the Advanced Unplanned Move mobile flow. #99242
- Added validation that rejects production output onto a license plate when the output bin has Strip License Plate enabled, both when registering output on the scanner and when posting output from the item journal.
Changed
- Removed the separate destination license plate step from Advanced Receive when starting a new license plate from the device. #99242
Fixed
- License plate entries now use the posted warehouse document numbers during posting, improving traceability after warehouse receipt, shipment, transfer, pallet, and pick transactions. #376
- Advanced Unplanned Move now records movement license plate entries under the correct mobile document number during posting. #93929
28.2.24.0 (2026-08-19)
Added
- Added a Units UOM Source setting to MOB Setup, letting production output and consumption interpret scanned units as either the production order unit of measure (default) or the item's put-away unit of measure, with automatic conversion and consistency checking between the two.
28.2.23.0 (2026-08-19)
Fixed

28.2.7.0 2026-07-24
Added
- Adds location driven freight pallet enforcement for warehouse shipment posting.
Fixed
- Fixed missing shipment-related license plate log entries when posting warehouse shipments
- Fix duplicate license plate scan handling in advanced receiving
Fixed
- Shipment-related license plate entries that were missing when posting warehouse shipments are now written correctly.
- Duplicate license plate scans in advanced receiving are now correctly rejected when the same license plate is scanned more than once in the same receipt session.
Added
- Single-lot picking validation. A new per-customer setting restricts picks to a single lot number, either across the whole pick order (Per Order) or within each individual license plate scanned (Per License Plate). The first lot scanned sets the master lot; any subsequent scan with a different lot raises a validation error at the device. Multi-customer consolidated picks are excluded automatically. See Single-Lot Picking Validation.
- Location-level freight pallet enforcement. Warehouse shipment posting can now be blocked per location until all freight pallets assigned to the shipment have been scanned against a truck load. See Pre-posting Validation.
Changed
- Truck load flow changes, by selecting the warehouse shipment where the loading is being done
28.2.4.0 2026-07-18
Fixed
- Output reversal posting no longer fails when multiple open output entries share the same lot, serial, or package number. The engine now resolves the correct entry automatically, with an early validation error if no eligible entry exists. See Output Reversal. #97360
- Output journal line description was being lost during posting due to the queue entry record not being loaded before its fields were read. #97360
- Queue entries now default Created At to the current date/time when the scanner payload does not supply a value, preventing blank-created timestamps in queued production registrations. #97360
- Consumption postings that Business Central splits into multiple warehouse entries no longer re-trigger license-plate integrity errors after the first staging pass. Processed staging GUIDs are now tracked for the duration of the consumption posting and duplicate passes are skipped gracefully. #97360
Added
- Consumption and Consumption Reversal registrations now auto-default Prod. Order Line No. when the production order has exactly one released line and no line number is supplied by the scanner or page user. Orders with multiple lines still require an explicit selection.
- Bulk Consumption now supports direct registration without a license plate. An item number, quantity, and work centre are required; the same item eligibility, production order component, and lot checks apply as for LP-based bulk consumption. See Bulk Consumption.
28.2.3.0 2026-07-14
Added
- Production scan processing now verifies that the Dual Unit of Measure Connector for Tasklet is installed when the Dual Unit of Measure extension is present. The check is cached per session to avoid repeated app-presence lookups.
Fixed
- Build freight pallet for transfers now correctly applies the shipment details to license plate content after posting.
- Resolved a spurious bin code validation error that was incorrectly blocking asynchronous consumption processing.
28.2.2.0 2026-07-13
Added
- Production processing on the scanner. Run production consumption, output, and bulk consumption — and reverse any of them — directly from the Tasklet device using license plates. Every scan is validated at the point of registration and processed through a single controlled pipeline for reliable, traceable posting. You can read more about this here.
- Asynchronous or synchronous posting. Choose per item, SKU, or globally whether production scans post immediately or are queued for a background job, so operators can keep scanning without waiting. See Execution Mode.
- Scan Processing Queue and monitoring. A queue and Role Centre activity view give full visibility of production scans, with automatic retry and recovery of failed transactions — plus a Reverse Entry action to reverse a posted scan from Business Central without re-scanning at the device. See Queue Monitor.
- Bulk consumption. A dedicated scan screen moves raw material into a controlled bulk consumption bin as it enters production, supporting full or partial pallet movement and easy reversal. See Bulk Consumption.
- GS1 label support with less manual entry. Production scans read GS1-encoded labels (serial number, GTIN, weight, best-before, lot) and automatically resolve or construct the license plate, resolve the production order, and assign lot numbers and expiration dates — so most transactions are point-and-scan. See Scan Data and GS1 Identifier Handling.
- Hierarchical (multi-level) output. Finished goods can be output as a multi-level license plate structure — for example a pallet containing cartons, or a pallet of cartons that each contain pieces — from a single scan, with the full parent-child hierarchy built and traced automatically. See Hierarchical (Multi-Level) Output.
28.1.12.0 2026-07-07
Fixed
- Corrected the tweak configuration for the License Plate menu item on Tasklet-compliant devices so that other extensions can apply their own page tweaks.
28.1.11.0 2026-07-01
Added
- Added integration events to the freight pallet codeunit to allow extensions to apply additional values (such as dual unit of measure quantities) to item journal lines and reservation entries during freight pallet build and remove operations.
- Added License Plate Type handling for Item Journal and Item Reclassification Journal posting.
28.1.10.0 2026-06-30
Added
- Added a License Plate Creation import flow to license plate existing inventory in bulk. You can create license plates, content, and parent hierarchy directly from imported data, so an existing warehouse can be set up with license plates without first removing and re-receiving inventory. You can read more about this here.
28.1.8.0 2026-06-29
Added
- Advanced Receiving functionlity. This new function enables Mobile WMS to handle Transfer Order shipping and receiving with license plate handling. It also enables Sales Order Returns receiving with license plate handling.
